Really live

To your very dear and loved ones, you say this: "If you need me, I am here. I am here for you. I am here to make you comfortable." Those are the moments that you have really lived your life.

Demands on God

God is not there just to fulfill your petty demands.

honoring Divine Love

In whomsoever you see whatever good quality---appreciating it, honoring it, heightening it, enlightening it---this is Divine Love, this is bhakti, this is devotion.

likes and dislikes

You think you are an individual "self" with likes and dislikes, and a storm comes into your life, whether you like it or not, and it lashes on you and pulls you out of your likes and dislikes.

Joy / Not Joy

This is what we see in the world today: everyone is moving towards joy, but people are not joyful. They are the opposite---miserable. Because they are clinging on to the sense objects rather than the source of joy.

yoga

Body, breath, and mind uniting, that is yoga---becoming One.

Overshadowed?

You have just been overshadowed by the events in your mind---that is all that has happened. A cloud has covered the sun. What can any cloud do to the sun? Can it destroy it? Remember your nature. You are the only Soul, only Being.

Really live

To your very dear and loved ones, you say this: "If you need me, I am here. I am here for you. I am here to make you comfortable." Those are the moments that you have really lived your life.

joy and being joyful

This is what we see in the world today: everyone is moving towards joy, but people are not joyful. They are the opposite---miserable. Because they are clinging on to the sense objects rather than the source of joy.

Transorming Feverishness

Attend to every part of your body with honor?all feverishness will be transformed into love.

Offering

Oh Lord, this whole universe is Yours. This body is Yours. This mind is Yours. The mind with all its conflict is also Yours. The mind with all its beauty is Yours---this offering itself is a technique that brings you back home.

Name and Form

Love is there in the whole creation. Everything is Love. But you have never related in your life other than by name and form; you could not love something which has no name or form. The guru embodies---Buddha embodies, Jesus embodies---that infinite Love with name and form.

freedom and responsibility

Someone who does not have any responsibility can feel very detached: "Oh, I have nothing to do. I am free." But that freedom has no value.

Nectar and Posion

In every breath there is Divine nectar. There is nectar that flows out of it. Or poison can flow.

Every Storm

Every storm that has come into your life has widened your horizon, has made you deep and more powerful. Every storm has destroyed some smallness in you, something in you that has been very small.

Love and Logic

Love is the realm of the unknown, the unknowable, the infinity. Logic pertains to the realm of limitations, observations.

a place in the heart of the Divine

There is a place for everybody in the heart of the Divine.

Just Observe

Just observe the nature---how big this world is, how big the universe is. Nothing is permanent here.

Finding Time for Meditation

The more pressed for time you are, the deeper the rest you must take, and the more essential is meditation.

Finding Divine

You will find the Divine in the last place, because once you find it, you will not go on searching.

Love Transformed

The love that you have for objects for people, for things, and places, and items is not different from Divine Love. It?s not opposite to Divine Love... I tell you the same love is transformed, becomes Divine Love.

silence at the peak

Something stunning takes you to silence. Something wonderful---words disappear, you become silent. At the helm of every emotion, at the peak of every happening, there is silence. And recognizing it, manifesting it in our life, you cross the ocean of "samsara," the ocean of misery.

Limited Senses

Our senses have a limited capacity to enjoy, but the desire in the mind to enjoy is infinite. This is where opposition begins: the mind wants to enjoy, but your body is too tired to enjoy.

self study

By self-study, by observing, by being hollow and empty, you become a channel---you become a part of the Divine. You are able to feel the presence of the Divinity. All the different angels and devas, all these different forms of our consciousness, start blossoming.

forget to forgive

Forgetfulness is one of the greatest blessings. If you remember all that people did in the past, never forget, you will never forgive also

space

When you give a space, the longing in you increases, whether it is for your spouse, or for God, or for Guru---whatever. And when there is longing, your love becomes really strong, powerful, unshakable.

Fleeting thoughts

Many times, about what you want you are not clear, because you have never looked into yourself. You are swayed away by fleeting thoughts and fleeting emotions, fleeting desires.

forgiveness

Forgiveness shields and protects your mind, your spirit, from being violent.

no mind

Mind that becomes No-Mind is meditation.

again and again

Coming back to the center, to the Seer, this moment---again and again and again---is abhyasa.

attractions and aversions

Do not get stuck up in any attractions around, and do not get stuck up in any aversions around. Then you cannot come to me, you cannot hear me, you cannot be with me at all.

levels of communication

Much is done in silence. If the communication is just on the level of words, many questions will come, and answers are given, and many more questions will come, and more answers will come, and many questions---it is an endless exercise.

compartments in your mind

You have got big compartments in your mind, innumerable compartments made in your mind. So, you immediately put everything, your experiences in life, into compartments. You make concepts and get stuck there.

craving creates sadness

Why are you sad? Why are you sorrowful? It?s because of your craving. You?re holding on to the past. The sadness is a memory of the past; a memory of craving from the past creates sadness now."
