The level of words

Much is done in silence. If the communication is just on the level of words, many questions will come, and answers are given, and many more questions will come, and more answers will come, and many questions---it is an endless exercise.

Too much austerity

What comes out of too much austerity is a big ego.

Craving

Why are you sad? Why are you sorrowful? It?s because of your craving. You?re holding on to the past. The sadness is a memory of the past; a memory of craving from the past creates sadness now."

Everything is being

Everything is Being. You are everything, and you are nothing

Power of Existence

Words cannot capture existence, but silence can

Like a Child

When you are established in your Self, you are not holding on to concepts. You are loose, free, easy, and open---just like a child.

Space for Attraction

Give some space for attraction. When attraction dies out, you will feel love has also died. A space is needed for attraction. And that attraction matures and becomes love; and the love matures and becomes devotion.

Servant is the Master

A servant is the Master. One who is a servant can only be a Master. And the Master is the servant. There is no difference.

The Joy of Self

All the enlightened masters have declared: the joy Self -- uniting with the self -- is a hundred times more than any other joy

Priorities

The glory of the Divine is all-pervading. You only need an eye to see it. But our eyes are stuck on other things, other attractions. If you are stuck with something else, you cannot reach up to the Self

The Source of Life

When we get in touch with the source of life, then all of other tensions, worries which have been clouding this manifestation, fall off and we can sing, dance, and be happy. Life can become very intense, intense in the sense of being joyful.

Change

Feelings change, thoughts change, ideas change, body is undergoing changes all the time, but the thirst deep within us is for something that is not changing, that is eternal, that is always, that is the same

Satvic Pleasure

That pleasure which comes after a certain discipline, is really satvic pleasure, long lasting pleasure. That pleasure which is pleasurable to begin with but ends in misery, is no pleasure at all

Amusement Park

This entire creation is amazement. You are in a big amusement park.

Serenity

Repose in that peaceful, cool, calm, serene, depth of your Being. You know, this is something immensely valuable and precious.

Move to the Center

From the object move on to the Center, move on to the Experiencer of pleasure. This is the way to have a continued experience, continued joy in life.

Pleasure and Release

This entire universe is there to give you pleasure and release. Whatever gives you pleasure should also give relief. Otherwise, the very pleasure becomes pain.

shradhaa

Love can just take over you when your mind has become full of "shradhaa"---faith---when there is only "yes" in the mind, when all the thorns of "no" have been pulled out of the mind and thrown away.

Mysterious Love

When you live in Love, you become so mysterious! That is Govinda. 'Govind' means one who has hidden knowledge, or one who cannot be explained in words, is beyond the words.

Divine Love

If you want to grow in Divine Love, you have got to drop the pride and all of the artificial wall we build between ourselves and others. In the "wall" we keep judging others, and we think others are judging us.

Feverishness

The feverishness in us destroys the joy.

Seeing God

The future is very comfortable. Glorifying the past is very comfortable. Seeing God now, here, is difficult. Seeing God in yourself is even more difficult

Asanas ( Yoga Postures )

Anytime you are confused, your mind is in conflict, do asanas, sit in asana. You will see, right away clarity comes. Effect of asana is clearing out of all conflicts, duality.

Open your Eyes.

Open your eyes and see. You think you are in control of a situation---what are you in control of? Where are you? Everything is happening, and you are in God. God is all that is.

That's enough.

God loves you. That is enough. And, you *are* love. That is enough!

Suffering

Suffering is a product of limited knowledge.

sensory peaks

The peak of any sensory or sensual experience takes you inward.

Desire

Desire means the present is not sufficient enough, it is not okay the way it is now, this moment. Desire means projection to the next moment. Desire simply means being unaware of the Infinity. Desire simply means you don't know yourself.

Deeper Levels of Mind

To probe into the deeper levels of the subconscious, unconscious mind, your mantra needs to be kept secret.

Mind is a flame

Mind is the flame, and it is the mind that brightens up our world. Take the mind off, your world disappears. Your world is lit and recognized and felt by the mind. And when mind becomes one whole, it is sweet, it is melody, it is beauty. If mind is divided, that is "maya," that is illusion.

committed to Truth

A person who is committed to truth---who is committed to what is, this presence of Being---for him success comes easily, follows. Not that he will not encounter failures. He may encounter failures, but he will again act.

No Rejects

A master is like an ocean. Ocean is there, readily available. It does not reject anybody.

Love Vs Cravings

When you tell somebody you love them, make sure you are not saying it out of your "vasanas," your own cravings, your own impressions, your own craving for some joy.

One Pointedness

To achieve anything in the world your mind has to be one-pointed; the mind gets into some restlessness to achieve things. But to attain your Self Realization, your *heart* has to be one-pointed

Not much different

You see violence in action, in somebody, and inside your mind you feel violent about that person. Then you are not much different from that person who is acting violent.

Love and Faith

Love transcends logic. Love depends on faith. You cannot say, "I have a lot of love, but I have no faith." It is impossible. Love carries along with it, faith. And Divine Love [carries] infinite faith

Where will we be in 5,000 years? What is going to happen in 5,000 years? Have a bigger plan! In 10,000 years, what is going to happen? Where will you be?

Be Joyful

Be joyful, and at the same time, be totally aware.

Stop and Be

Burn the seed of craving, and then the Non-Doer---Brahman---is already available

Only the self

Only the Self exists. Nothing else exists.

repose

Desire is hustle and bustle. Desire is agitation, activity. When all that is dropped: peaceful reposing in the innermost core of your Being. Repose---as though you are finished, dead, gone.

poles

These are the poles we swing between: either we are apathetic and dull and inertia bound or we are engaged in a "vasuna" that grips our mind with feverishness, that clouds our whole consciousness.

Trust

The entire world lives on trust. Every aspect in life moves with trust.

The Language of Existence

The more "in" you are, the more consolidated you are, in the very core of your Being, the center of your Being, the more you speak the language of the Existence. You do so much good, you do so many wonderful things around you.

Expand Your World

Expand your world and your vasanas (cravings) will drop away. The world is so big! Be open to new experiences.

You want proof

"Proof" is one of the main things in the world that you are stuck on to---you want proof of everything.Whether someone loves you or not, you want a proof about it.

Fear

Fear is lack of love. Only one thing can eliminate fear---that is love.

Limited Senses, Unlimited Desire

Actually, the real craving of the mind, of the being, is for Divine Love, for unlimited joy. Every sole is craving for unlimited joy, joy which has no boundaries, but senses cannot provide them with what they are searching for through the senses. The capacity to enjoy for our senses is limited. But the desire is unlimited.

Stop and Be

Burn the seed of craving, and then the Non-Doer---Brahman---is already available.

Become Free

Before this earth eats you up, become free---free from this feverishness that is gripping your mind, free from this craving for happiness.

Transcendental Prayer

When you meditate or when you pray, when you are in teh space of vastness, calmness and love, you emit certain vibrations, and these vibrations are not limited to you or your environment. They also touch all those minds or the ballons of souls which are outside your physical reality. Your prayer transcends physical reality and reaches the subtle levels of existence.

Love Vs Cravings

Ultimate Relationship

This is the ultimate relationship: when you can relate to yourself one hundred percent. Then, any face you look at---there is love, there is charm, there is beauty.

When you can let go

Regret piles up and piles up and it becomes so big---and you blow up. Do you see this happening to you? When you let go, your mind can be in the present moment, more and more and more and more. You are able to smile and laugh from the depth of your heart. Life becomes more light and easy.

God is Joy

God is joy.

Become Free

Before this earth eats you up, become free---free from this feverishness that is gripping your mind, free from this craving for happiness.

Silly little desire

What makes you weak? Your desire---silly little desire.

Source of Joy

You are the source of joy.

Purpose of Words

The purpose of words, all the words we use, the talking we do, is to create silence and love in our hearts

Connected to the present moment

Dispassion does not divide you; in fact, it connects you. It connects you to the present moment so totally, so you can be 100% in anything you do.

God Is...

God is the Seer himself. Who sees---that is God.

Love Vs Cravings

You are not going to Die #2

Though you may feel, " I am going to die; I am old getting old," --- this is superficial. Deep down inside you, you know for sure you are not going to die. You are beyond death.

Deep inside

You are made up of a substance called Love. You have it deep inside.

Truth and Proof

Truth cannot be understood through proof. Truth is beyond proof or disproof.

Bubbling Enthusiasm

Just be. Just enthusiasm. When you do an action without a "vasuna," without a latent impression of "I, mine," then you become the embodiment of bubbling enthusiasm. Like small children, three or four month old kids, have you seen them? Very enthusiastic. That enthusiasm is coming out of every cell of the body.

Manifestations

Your brain is nothing but manifestation of consciousness. Your body is nothing but manifestation of consciousness. Intelligence, wherever you see it in the world, is manifestation of consciousness.

Wanting to merge

The soul is not satisfied by just the physical bodies coming closer. It
wants something more. It wants to merge. It wants to vanish and disappear. This is what we call love

Enthusiasm

The sign of life is enthusiasm. The sign of success is smile and joy

Drowning in Doubt

When self doubt comes, behind that come the doubts about the techniques, about your path. And when these two doubts come, the third doubt comes: "Am I in the right place? Is this the right teacher?" Doubt about the teacher follows the first two. And these three doubts drown you down.

Demands on God

God is not there just to fulfill your petty demands

All that you need

You are total. You are full. You have all that you need. Do not underestimate yourself.

no loss no gain

The mere presence of the sun brings all the activity in the world. In the same way, your mere presence is a service, is the goal. There is no gain, no loss, no purpose, no defeat

Bubbling Enthusiasm

God and Devotees

God is all over. God is in the stone. God is in the flowers. God is in the garbage can. God is all over, but devotee is not all over. So God runs behind His devotees. To God, devotees are very dear, so dear.

MatureLove

Longing, or pain, or hurt is part of love. Experience it, be with it, go through it---then your love becomes so mature.

Hollow and Empty

Creation is all anxious to fulfill your desire when you become hollow and empty.

Niranjanah

Events cannot stick on to you. You are like the pure crystal. Niranjanah---untouched, unstained by anything.

Ego

Behind everything is your ego: "I, I, I, I." But in seva there is no "I," because it has to be done for someone else. It is for the need of the time, or surrounding people, that you do it.

Getting Stuck

For a few moments in our life, we become intense, we become 100%. Our mind, consciousness, becomes like one integrated glow. And these moments are very precious things

After kriya

After kriya, many people feel so pure and so clear, so complete, because the consciousness, which was stuck in the matter, material, which is foreign to itself, got released from that and came back to its home. That is the sense of purity, feeling of purity

Still more doubt

In order to trust, you must first understand your doubt. You doubt yourself, and you doubt people around you. And then you doubt in the existence of God.

High Prana

If your level of prana is high, you can sustain a smile through whatever may come.

Influencing all levels

When you meditate, you are not just bringing a harmony within yourself, but you are influencing the subtle layers of creation, the subtle bodies of all the different levels of existence in the creation

Come back to source

Bring the mind, which is all over the place, back to its source.

Set concepts

Your concept in the mind that things should be a certain way causes pain in the mind. The cause of distress is set concepts in the mind

Simplicity

Something that is simple, the mind cannot accept. The ego wants very complicated and difficult things

Like Attracts Like

In the realm of mind, like attracts like. If the soul is peaceful, then it attracts peaceful environment and people around it.

One or the other

Awareness, if it is not controlled by joy and bliss, will only bring irritation and anger

Divinity around you

When you move in the world, recognize the Divinity in things around you, in people around you. Listen with your heart

Every moment

Offer every moment into the Divine

cause of fear

Lack of understanding of life causes fear. People are afraid of love, people are afraid of meditation, people are afraid of death, people are afraid of themselves. Ignorance, lack of awareness, is cause of fear. Just a glimpse of the Being, of the Self that you are, that you are beyond death, roots out the fear totally

Sprititual Knowldge and Science

All possible advancements in any field you see today, either science or arts, originated as a thought, originated in that ocean of Intelligence.People talk about "science meeting spirituality" or "spirituality coming together with science" this is such an immature, childish statement. Spiritual knowledge *is* science. And science can never be away from spiritual knowledge. Because, spirit alone can bring the science up. They are two sides of the same coin.
